The last ten years of my career were very creative and rich in artistic development. I composed albums of different music genres such as ambient music, electronic music and sacred music, and published several books of poems. I even rediscovered the passion for painting after 40 years.
Over these years, I composed and recorded ideas for the creation of the third C.A.S.T. (Clouds And Shining Trees) album. I had a lot of musical materials I was experimenting on - I wrote over 100 pieces of music. It was really hard to select the songs for the next album. When I was recording and mixing guitars, bass and drums, I realized that each song has an individual artistic imprint. They were realized with different moods, tastes and atmospheres. In May 2020, I was finally able to pick the musical lines that now make the third C.A.S.T. album.
I feel like each song is a single entity and the expression of a side of myself. As a result, the album’s name: “C-Sides”, where “C” is me, Claudio.

electric & acoustic guitars, e-bow, lap steel guitar, bass, delays & reverbs, drums & loops, electric piano, electronics.
All music written, performed and produced by Claudio Pacagnan at BUSHCRAFT Retreat Home Studio, during June 2020 and March 2021.
